2. Scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the distance selling of products to consumers through the vadio.pt online shop, under Portuguese Decree-Law no. 24/2014 of 14 February and Decree-Law no. 7/2004 of 7 January. By placing an order, the customer confirms having read and accepted these Terms and Conditions, the Returns and Refunds Policy and the Privacy Policy.

3. Minimum age

The products sold are alcoholic beverages. Sales are exclusively for persons aged 18 or over. By ordering, the customer declares to be 18 years of age or older. Vadio Wines reserves the right to request proof of age and to cancel orders where there is doubt; the carrier may refuse delivery to minors.

4. Products and prices

5. Orders and conclusion of the contract

To order, the customer adds products to the basket, provides billing and delivery details, chooses a payment method and confirms the order using the order button with an obligation to pay. Until that confirmation, the customer can review and correct the products, quantities and details entered.

The contract is concluded when the customer receives the order confirmation by email after payment. That confirmation, with the order summary and these Terms and Conditions, is kept by Vadio Wines and can be viewed by the customer in their account or requested at geral@vadio.pt. The contract is concluded in Portuguese.

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the billing and delivery details provided.

6. Payment

The following payment methods are accepted: credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Klarna and Link. The methods available are shown at the start of the ordering process. Payment is processed by Stripe, a certified payment service provider; Vadio Wines does not have access to full card details. The invoice is issued and sent by email.

7. Shipping and delivery

8. Right of withdrawal and returns

The customer has 30 days after receiving the order to exercise the right of withdrawal, without giving any reason. The conditions and procedure are described in the Returns and Refunds Policy.

You can exercise this right using the “Withdraw from contract here” button on the Returns and Refunds Policy page, by email to geral@vadio.pt or by any other unequivocal statement.

9. Warranty and conformity

Products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity under Portuguese Decree-Law no. 84/2021 of 18 October. In the event of a lack of conformity (for example, a defective bottle or spoiled wine), the customer should contact us at geral@vadio.pt. After delivery, wine should be stored in suitable conditions (a cool, dark place with a stable temperature).

10. Personal data

Personal data collected is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and our Privacy Policy.

11. Complaints

The customer may submit a complaint at geral@vadio.pt or in the Electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico).

12. Alternative dispute resolution (ADR)

In the event of a consumer dispute, the consumer may turn to an alternative consumer dispute resolution entity, under Portuguese Law no. 144/2015 of 8 September:
